Steem Total Value Powered Up - $88 million - October 31, 2021
This is next in my series of posts reviewing the amount and value of powered up STEEM on the Steem blockchain. For previous posts, see the end of this entry.
Noteworthy in the last week,
- The modeled value of Powered-Up Steem gained in strength against all comparison tokens this week.
- In the actual number of powered-up Steem, several new highs were reached this week, but there has not been a consistent streak. Some days have seen gains, others have seen decreases.

Here is a chart of daily changes in powered-up STEEM from April 11 to present. The graph also includes a linear trend line and a 28 day moving average.
VESTED STEEM
Four new highs this week and an overall gain of about 100,000 STEEEM.
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of USD
Continuing a generalized uptrend after mid-June, the modeled value of powered-up STEEEM is up by about $7 million from last week's download until today's.
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of Tron (TRX)
Up by about 60 million in the last week. Squarely back in the 800 million to 1 billion range.
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of Steem Dollars
The modeled value of powered-up STEEEM gained a cool million against SBDs this week. This continues a multi-month uptrend. Today's value was over 12 million, a threshold which has only been seen on October 6, and before that back in May.
Value of powered-up STEEM as a percentage of Steem's market cap
Up a touch, but basically unchanged since last week (and the week before). 4 consecutive days above 36%; 36 consecutive days above 35%; 79 consecutive days above 34%; and 99 straight days above 1/3. Will it hold above 36%? Will we go above 37% again?
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of bitcoin (BTC)
This week saw an increase of about 100 BTC.
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of ethereum
Up by about 600 ETH this week. This is noteworthy because ETH hit a new all-time high a day or two ago.
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of litecoin
The modeled value of powered-up STEEM gained by about 36,000 against LTC this week. In recent months, it has settled into a range between 400,000 and 500,000.

I observed the movement of the steem exchange rate starting from July 2021 to November 2021 showing a stable exchange rate. Steem price did not experience a high increase and a deep correction. In 3 month the steem exchange rate only moves between $0.5 to 0.68.

I see it seems that the steem exchange rate this week is getting stronger, even with a small percentage of exchange rate strengthening. I always believe steem is a profitable investment option.

Staking the respective coin in wallet is the wisest action from anyone who can afford enough for the coin. Steem is the mother of all blockchain based social media platform. And this steem coin is now in the best position amongst all social coin. So we should stake more coin here to be stable on steemit and make our income stable.
The exchange rate of steem against the US dollar is getting stronger. This is proof that steem is a profitable cryptocurrency to invest in. Let's continue to do steem promos with various media.
Steem total value powered up of last 4 week was really very interesting. Hopefully the value of steem is going to increase next week and it will help to increase the steem total powered up value. Thank you.
Ohh .. Steemit is on the rise with that new numbers but it is as you say it is not something constant, it has its ups and downs but in the same way the numbers are favorable for the ecosystem.

Staked steem value is over one third of its total market value. It is good. But it will be better if people stake more and more steem coin.
