Steem Total Value Powered Up - $47 million - July 16, 2021

This is next in my series of posts reviewing the amount and value of powered up STEEM on the Steem blockchain. For previous posts, see the end of this entry.

Noteworthy in recent weeks, the value of powered-up STEEM has bounced off of late-June lows and is holding its own or gaining ground against other cryptocurrencies that I'm tracking.

Here are the numbers as of a few minutes ago.

Total value locked in powered-up STEEM (USD): $46,958,121.24
STEEM market cap $142,810,779.547

VESTED STEEM

After a streak of 51 consecutive new highs ended on July 7, we're currently back at a new high and on a 2 day streak.

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of USD

Steem has been in the summer doldrums with the rest of the crypto markets, but in terms of USD, the current value of powered up Steem is almost twice its June 22 low.

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of tron (TRX)

After dropping down for a while, the value of powered-up STEEM in terms of TRX is back in the 800k to 1 million trading range that seems so common.

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of Steem Dollars

In terms of SBD, the value of powered-up STEEM has been hugging the 8 million line for most of two months.

Value of powered-up STEEM as a percentage of Steem's market cap

Still my favorite graph. As a percentage of market cap, the value of powered up Steem has broken through the 1/3 barrier a couple times, but has yet to do it convincingly.

Trying to climb back in the alley between 1,500 and 2,000 BTC

Holding its own and gaining a little ground against ETH.

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of litecoin

As with USD, the value of powered-up STEEM is just about twice its low in comparison to LTC.

This week the numbers are not very encouraging for the steem blockchain there was a lot of drop except for "Value of powered-up STEEM as a percentage of Steem's market cap"

Good to have your weekly summary back.

Thanks for the reply! I agree that this week's numbers were disappointing in terms of USD, but things looked better as a percentage of market cap and against most of the other cryptocurrencies I checked. And even in terms of USD, things are looking better than they did in late June. (knock on wood ; -)

I don't know if I'll be able to keep up with posting this weekly, but I hope not to wait this long between posts again.

I like the down-to-earth analysis of your post. So simple that any user can read and fathom. It looks like bit-by-bit Steem is growing and breaking barriers. Soon, it would be back among the top 100 cryptocurrencies.
