HOW I LOST 30 POUNDS AND HOW YOU CAN TOO! MY WORKOUT AND DIET WEIGHT LOSS PLAN!!!

  So I decided It was time to lose some weight. I am 6’ 1” and I’m in my 30s. I wanted to lose some weight but didn’t know where to start. I’ve read through a million different workouts and diet plans online but decided to just go with common sense. I know diet plans don’t work because they’re temporary and being healthy is and having a healthy weight is a lifestyle change and not a temporary diet. So I decided to change for good. I stopped eating useless food that was empty calories and did nothing for my body. After all we eat for nutrition and energy for our bodies so why put useless carbs into my body? So I only eat nutrition rich foods from now on and I don’t eat any sweets unless they’re fruits. I have a blendtec and make lots of smoothies but instead of pure fruit I do a lot of veggies. One sweet one I found that is still healthy is my Blueberry Apple spinach smoothie. A cup of blueberries, a cup of spinach and one apple and some water or ice. It’s sweet but not too sweet and I love it. After all fruits are healthy for you but they still contain natural sugars which when eaten a lot of can spike your blood sugar if you don’t have the proper protein to balance it out. I used to eat sugary cereals for breakfast but I changed to eating only Eggs covered in guacamole, cayenne pepper and turmeric. I also have a piece of fruit for breakfast with my eggs and 2 tablespoons of almond butter. It fills me up for hours and is healthy. I don’t eat any red meat either. I only eat turkey, fish and chicken. Lunch usually consists of steamed vegetables and chicken or fish/turkey. And my dinner is usually a dinner salad. My workout plan is as follows. I wake up every morning and the first thing I do is run 20 to 30 minutes. I once read that if you run first thing on an empty stomach your body burns all the fat first because it hasn’t eaten in awhile and it’s a great way to burn fat fast. It worked for me. So I run in the mornings and go to the gym at lunch. I realize not everyone will have the luxury of going to the gym on their lunch break but luckily for me there is a Planet Fitness only 2 miles from my work. On my hour lunch break I workout 30 minutes and eat for 30 minutes. When I’m at the gym I only do weights and target a different muscle area each day. I don’t do heavy weights just more resistance weight training because I wanted to get tone and not bulk up. Then at night time before bed I do 30 minutes of yoga. It is very calming and relaxing and not a lot of strenuous exercising. I have been doing my routine for 6 months now and have lost 30 pounds. Well 33 if you want to get technical. I went from 188 lbs down to 155 lbs. Here is a picture of me before and after.

I feel 10 times better than before. I have more energy and i sleep better at night and i have such a more positive outlook on life. I rarely ever get mad anymore and i just feel electric. I hope all of you can do the same who would like to lose some weight. If there is a lot of interest in this post i will update it more and send some videos soon.
