still laughing!!!! cuz i'll never come back from this even though it was CLEARLY her fault ahahahahahahahahaaha

yes!!!!!! that's what i'm saying!
dreems and magical fairy dust!
come on @tamala!!! Round 2 Round 2 Round 2
(i haven't stopped laughing since she posted this - i keep remembering parts of the conversation that she didn't post.... like the fact that hers came out brown. i can barely see the screen i'm laughing so hard. i dont' even know where BROWN would come into the recipe - it should be so red! LOLOLOLOL)
Maybe the effect of 2.5cups of pepper flakes ... would certainly turn me brown

hahahahaha I'm guessing that the Korean flakes are sweeter/ less spicy??
although - you do make a LOT of the sauce. it doesn't ALL go in the recipe. I think I only used half of the sauce - and the rest went into the freezer. LOL
oh my. such a good laugh today! hehehehehe
So other than filling your freezer up, what do you do with the sauce?

oh - it itsn't that much left over! its about 1 cup left over after making the kimchi. but lets say I just wanted to just put it on cabbage next time and not make the whole thing with the carrots, radish, leeks, onions. etc.... it could be a fairly quick process.
and despite our friend's bad experience. hahahahaha I've had people (who love kimchi) say this recipe is WAY better than a store-bought version and easily rivals what you would get in a restaurant
(that's because the original recipe is really from a Korean woman explaining all the little tips and tricks)
mmmmmmmmm i'm dying for some right now hehehehehe but it IS spicy. just not fire spicy hahaahahaha and that tartness that develops over time... mmmmm so good!
yeah i'd need to reduce the pepper flakes myself... but having a bit of sauce left over is nice.. get the benefit even without the full recipe
hahahahaha not even second thoughts????
