STEEM-POCALYPSE SURVIVAL GAME CONTEST - SEASON 6 DAY 3 ROUND 2 - 250 SBD PRIZE POOL SO FAR
THIS POST IS PART OF AN ELIMINATION GAME – DO NOT REPLY TO IT UNLESS YOU ARE PLAYING
In the last round the players had a chance to check out some buildings. Perhaps there were some useful items to be found there, or maybe even a group of angry cannibalistic survivors just waiting for a tasty meal... Let's see what happened.
DAY 3 ROUND 1 RESULTS
OPTION 1 - Try to make your way down the street.
Some players chose to risk it out on the street. Being out in the open like that can be dangerous... but they made it.
The Players who chose Option 1 survived the round but gained no items.
OPTION 2 – Try to work your way through the pawn shop, searching for anything useful on your way.
For the players who chose Option 2, they cautiously enter the Pawn Shop. As you may have thought, it was basically ransacked and anything left was mostly broken or junk. The players still needed to get towards the end of town, so they worked their way through the building.
After a while, tucked away under some furniture, they found some a flashlight! Happy to have at least found something useful, and glad that they were not dead, they left the pawn shop and moved on.
The Players who chose Option 2 found a flashlight. Please include a flashlight in your inventory when you reply. Congratulations.
OPTION 3 – Try to work your way through the first floor of the sporting goods store, searching for anything useful on your way.
Other players chose to cross the street and work their way through the bottom floor of the sporting goods store. It looked a lot like the pawn shop, and plenty of useful things had already been taken by others.
In a desk drawer behind a counter, they did find some water purification tablets. If these players ever need them, at least now they have them!
The Players who chose Option 3 found Water Purification Tablets. Please make sure to include them in your inventory when you reply. Congratulations.
OPTION 4 – Try to work your way through the second floor of the sporting goods store searching for anything useful on your way.
Did the players who chose to head upstairs in the sporting goods shop meet their death? No, actually they did not.
After much searching they eventually managed to find a magnesium fire starter. Great job guys!

DAY 3 ROUND 2 SCENARIO
After a long day of working their way towards the edge of town without being seen, the players creep on. Some are glad to have found some new items while others are just happy to be alive.
As the players sneak on, they hear a noise.
Standing there, a short distance is someone...
Most likely, it is another player and those who are still alive now have a chance to team up. However, not everyone needs to believe the "most likely" story, do they?
OPTIONS
OPTION 1 - Try to shoot them. (For players with a gun.)
OPTION 2 – Try to stab them. (For players with a knife.)
OPTION 3 – Try to set them on fire. (For players with a bottle of gasoline and a magnesium firestarter.)
OPTION 4 – Try to run away. (For players with feet.)
OPTION 5 - Try to team up. (For players who are alone and are ready to get some help and pool resources.)
PLAYER RESPONSIBILITY
All players who have signed up and want to play must reply to this post with 24 hours in order to avoid elimination and continue gameplay. All players must reply to my option comment below, not to this post. I will reply to my own posts with the options each in their own comments, and the players must reply to whichever comment has the option that they wish to choose.

After some time rummaging through the fallen aisles and detritus, I luck out and manage to find a fire-starter. Pocketing it, I exit the building and head toward city limits.
The sun drops under the horizon not long after I set off, and I find myself threading through dark alleys for a quick, and hopefully stealthy escape. A crunching noise behind me alerts that I'm not alone, and I break into a sprint.

Hunger is still not an issue, as I can go at least until Day 4 without eating. The flashlight is a handy addition to the pistol and 8 rounds of ammo I already have. People are a little too squirrelly to trust, so I'm headed in the opposite direction of the mystery person in choosing Option 4, quietly and quickly, trying to make good my escape.

(I'm actually very reluctant to choose the option to team up due to the potential issue of scheduling conflicts that would make it difficult for team members to be online at the same time. However, prior to the start of season 6 there were some clues floating around on Steemit that suggested that team play would be mandatory at some point this season and starting around the point where half the field was dead. By my count, 57% of the players have already been eliminated, so the timing of this round of gameplay sounds about right. I just hope I get teamed with someone that has gas, a flashlight, and at least one of their own backup food and/or weapon.)

I, @lturner, being of a relieved mind, choose Option 5. I am quite pleased to have survived the risky second floor of the former sporting goods store and to have finally added to my inventory.
For those of us who watched Papa Pepper's interview with @dwells just before Season 6 began, it was interesting to note that he said he's very interested in people teaming up this round. He tried out the idea in the last season but said he didn't like the way he accidentally had team members dying off before there was a chance to have any really good team play. His goal, he said, was to encourage community and interaction.
From this, I've concluded that not only is it safe to approach and attempt to team up, but that there are some good gameplay options coming up. My only regret is that I don't think there is a choice in who you're teamed with so I can't choose a buddy. I'm also not sure how it works choosing a team option and if it would just be frustrating to be teamed with someone who always wants to do something different than I do. But I'm willing to give it a shot and hope for a good team buddy!
