Why You Must Manage Your Energy, Not Your TimesteemCreated with Sketch.

The body contains enough energy to light up New York for a month, according to a brilliant American scientist!

Why are we not feeling this energy? Simply because we misuse it. Most people use it to harm themselves rather than restore their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.

We draw from our energy store when off-center, but when centred, we are “plugged in” to the universal energy that powers everything on Earth.

Because telluric energy (the Earth) and cosmic energy (the sun) naturally circulate from bottom to top, everything that exists is tied to this universal energy. This natural energy powers us like a battery.

Personal dread is the only barrier to its spread. All fear indicates that we have lost our divine power. Every accusation—from oneself and others—includes self-fear, emotion, guilt, rage, and dread for others.

Keep centred as much as possible? This is challenging since our egos usually rule us. Three tips for staying centred and unblocking energy flow.

Stay present. Reminiscing with regret, misery, or pain prevents you from living in the now and harms your future. You fear the same thing will happen again or you put off your demands because of the past.

Example: A woman with three problematic romantic relationships. She will be afraid to commit to a new relationship until she lets go of the past, and revisiting her worries drains her vitality.

Being appreciative for the present and saying thank you to life as often as possible might help you stay in the present. Another option is to set short- and long-term goals and focus on them.

Choose responsibility over guilt. Each accusation drains vitality. The fear of guilt—self-blame—depletes you. You block energy when you judge or criticise someone to make them feel guilty. If you think you're responsible for your family's happiness and try to manage them as a method of loving them, you're probably feeling guilty.

Responsible people know that everyone makes their own life. It means acknowledging that everyone must take responsibility for their actions, decisions, and beliefs-influenced views of events.

For instance, you feel guilty for eating or drinking anything unhealthy. Being responsible implies accepting your actions while knowing you filled a void with food or drink. Your body and life are yours to control. Accepting that you are human and occasionally feel inadequate reduces the repercussions.

Same goes for when a loved one compensates in an unbeneficial way. His life, his choice. This doesn't bother you because he'll pay for his deeds. Fear, guilt, and not accountability drive you to take on someone else's consequences.

Accept humanity. Most of us have an unrealistic vision of perfection. People typically have the same demands. Accepting oneself implies accepting your flaws, strengths, shortcomings, ups, and downs.
