RE: How Do YOU Compare To The Average American, Financially?
Here are my stats:
- Home value: $180,000 - I bought it for $165,000
- Student Loan Debt - Zero 0
- Salary - $98K, but I worked a lot of overtime. Normally it's around $65K
- Investments: 401K, Roth IRA, I have a few litecoins and bitcoins
- Credit Card Debt: Current balance: $700 which I pay off every month.
- I pay everything in cash. If I can't afford it, I don't buy it. I live within my means.
- I travel for a living, and when I travel. I try to do free or inexpensive excursions. I'm very frugal. LOL
- I don't watch TV. I read books most of the time.
- What I earn on steemit will probably go to charity. I only do this because I enjoy blogging.
- I believe in the spiritual laws of giving. A person will never be wealthy if they don't give or share.
- I recently deactivated my facebook, and spend it now on steemit. I mostly read financial articles, travel blogs, and tutorials.
Frugality is a key path to wealth for the vast majority that make it there.
Have you read my latest charity post? We have a Steemit team on Kiva that I donate some of my steem earnings into. Would love to have you join up :D
