Read my article and ask again a known question: We are what we eat, think and feel? Is it a little clearer now?
Fundamental Theories of Ayurveda
Did you know that Ayurveda was the first medical system that proposed a holistic conception of the human being integrating the body, mind and spirit?
Thus, Ayurveda conceives of life as a trinity, based on the union of body, mind and spirit, all positive or negative experience at the corporal level has its effect on the mind and vice versa. The spirit then, is the source of the eternal life and eternal youth.
Ayurvedic medicine has its philosophical sustenance in the following theories:
1- The theory of the five elements: ether, air, fire, water and eart
2- The theory of qualities: ten pairs of characteristics that help classify everything manifested in the universe.
3- The theory of the three gunas: satvas (equilibrium), rajas (activity), and tamas (inertia)
4- The theory of the tridosha or the three corporal types: vata, pitta and kapha
To finalize this article a little graph that shows the combination of all!
and now I ask you a known question: We are what we eat, think and feel?
I hope you like my post and follow me...
The way we eat, the way we become, healthy foods make us healthy and beauty. The way we think make us become good or bad, but I don't clearly understand about feel, please let's me know more detail.
For Ayurveda, what you feel generate a positive or negative predispositions in yourself, happiness, angry, etc... that have influences on your health too
