When things go wrong, it can be hard to stay upbeat and on track. These six good things are suggested by experts.

The current situation is stressful: high prices, the war in Ukraine, the environmental problem, and so on. This makes a lot of stress and worry. But don't give up! One of life's lessons is how to get past problems and obstacles.

You might feel down because of this dark environment, but there are ways to get better. The American Psychological Association has information on how to get over your fear of the unknown and find peace within yourself.

The American Psychological Association polled 4,000 people who were going through a hard and stressful time. In spite of this, 71% of adults were optimistic about the future and 51% were sure they could handle their own problems.

Self-confidence has been worked on by psychologists. They make it easy for everyone to become more resilient and sure of themselves in life. Sophie Bethune, who is in charge of the poll, says, "Accepting the uncertainty of the future and the difficulties of the present lets us focus on what we can control and what we can do to make our lives better."

Don't worry about the bad things that might happen in a setting. We feel scared and afraid before bad things happen when we expect them to happen. Because it makes me think the worst is going to happen.

If bad thoughts are getting the best of you, try conscious breathing. Instead of terrible and painful things happening, think about the best things that could happen. Think about how you can make this happen.

To feel more confident and at ease with change, learn to be flexible when things don't go as planned. Do or go somewhere new. This will help you respond better by getting you used to uncertainty.

Being in charge of your own life gives you freedom and lowers stress. Volunteering and taking part in politics have been shown to bring people together. Psychologists say it helps you move forward and gives you control over your future.

Not everyone is as unsure as I am. Some people are better at dealing with tough scenarios. Don't worry if you can't handle doubt as well as your friend does. Take care of yourself. Don't forget that stress ends over time, so wait.

If you listen to yourself, you feel stronger and more confident. What would you tell a friend who was having this issue? Putting your problem in the eyes of someone else can help you become more objective and find new solutions.

When you need help, please ask for it. Asking other people to help you will not help in the long run. Instead, say, "It will make you feel helpless in life."

The head of the study says that rescuers often keep us from taking responsibility for our lives. Instead, find friends and family who can help you feel better. They can help you decide what steps to take next to solve your problems.
