보현보살 권발품

하물며 이 법화경을 지닌 사람이 만약 거닐거나

서서 이 경을 독송할때는 제가 이때에 여섯 개의

어금니를 가진 하얀 코끼리 왕을 타고 대보살들과

더불어 함께 그 처소에 나가서 스스로 몸을 나투어서

공양 수호하여 그 마음을 안위케 하겠습니다.

또한 법화경에 공양하기를 위하여 이 사람이 만약 앉아서

이 경을 생각하면 이때에 내가 다시 백상왕을 타고

그 사람 앞에 나타나며 그 사람이 만약 법화경 일구,

일게송이라도 잊어버린 바 있거든 내가 마땅히 가르쳐서

한 가지 더불어 독송하여 통리케 할 것이며 이때에 법화경

수지 독송하는 자가 내몸을 얻어 보고 심히 크게 환희하여

천천히 다시 정진할지며 나를 봄을 쓰는 고로 곧 삼매와

다라니를 얻을 것입니다.

If a person with this sutra is walking or standing

or standing and reciting this sutra, I will ride a white elephant king with six tusks

riding a white elephant king with six tusks.

and the great bodhisattvas, and together we will go out to that place, and we will put ourselves out there

I will protect the offerings and comfort the mind.

Furthermore, if this person sits down to make offerings to the Lotus Sutra

and thinks of this sutra, then I will appear before him again on my white steed.

I will appear before him, and if he forgets the Lotus Sutra,

or even one song of the Lotus Sutra, I will teach it to him.

I will teach him, and he will be able to recite the Lotus Sutra

When the one who recites the resin sutra sees my body, he rejoices greatly.

and he will slowly resume his training, and he will soon attain samadhi and dharani.

Dharani will be attained.
