46 yo - had to “eat more food… and especially ice cream”... 😂😂😂from these kettlebell workouts

Yeah, I know… Tough problem to have.
And no, it’s not me.
That was from an email from a friend of mine from North Carolina who’s been training w/ kettlebells and worked his tail off to overcome chronic shoulder pain. Now he’s working hard to alleviate hip issues which arose from a less-than-optimal knee surgery 30 years ago.
Anyway, he and I were writing back and forth and the quote in the subject line was part of a discussion about smart, but hard training.
And specifically, the need to train hard as a way to relieve stress from work, life, etc.
Here’s what Billy wrote about his results over the last 6 months -
“I have gone from 165-167 to 172-175 lbs and @ 46 years old. I had to increase caloric intake (who doesn’t like to eat more food and especially ice cream with crushed gluten free oreos with hot chocolate fudge?!) because even at low bodyfat I was getting thinner. That bodyweight a personal high for me. Adding the DFSQ was a game changer and made everything more effective/efficient until it didn’t. I was using double 20 kg’s as a transition to using double 53’s and was on my way as I can now press them 6-7 reps and was 2-3 previously.”
In context, he was talking about kettlebell complexes, specifically a group of programs called Kettlebell HARD!.
“"...KB Hard - the most enjoyable set of programs I’ve done to date. It’s not Rocky IV stuff but it sure reminds you of “War”."
(“War” is that instrumental playing when Rocky is fighting Drago.)
And for Billy, the training is so demanding, he’s actually eating MORE than normal to keep from losing weight. In fact, he’s packing on muscle.
So, if you want / need challenging kettlebell workout programs to help you blow off some stress…
And you don’t mind training hard - REALLY HARD in some cases…
And you’re pretty savvy with a pair of kettlebells or the Olympic lifts…
Then you may find any of the 35+ Kettlebell HARD! training programs right up your alley.
They’re each 6+ weeks long, 3x a week - between 15 and 30 minutes at a time.
Why aren’t they any longer?
Because you don’t want them to be. Trust me.
And if you’ve done complexes before?
The Kettlebell HARD! complexes are different.
How?
They’re based upon what I call “Cuban Programming.”
Cuban Programming is the combination of Soviet Weightlifting Methodology and Sports Science and American Powerlifting Cycling, specially adapted to accommodate the Western Stress-Filled Lifestyle.
It was taught to me by my old Olympic lifting coach, Alfonso Duran - trained by the Soviet Weightlifting Team coach and world champion, Alexey Medvedyev.
And the Cuban Programming inside Kettlebell HARD! is one of the reasons Billy can grow muscle and “have to” eat ice cream at 46 - like a 16 year old.
Now, am I saying you’ll “have to” eat ice cream to keep the weight from falling off you?
No.
And that’s because I don’t know anything about you or your training background or your lifestyle.
But what I can tell you is that if you like challenging, hard, tough as nails kettlebell workouts…?
The Kettlebell HARD! programs will scratch your itch.
Plus, you’ll get 35+ full-blown 6-week+ kettlebell workout programs, for less than the cost of a nice dinner for two.
So, harness your “Inner Rocky,” throw on “War,” and get started on one of the Kettlebell HARD! complexes today.
Stay Strong,
Geoff
