While I completely understand their desire to keep you out of chat rooms, posting and commenting on SteemIt isn't much different. I also wanted to tell you about #steemprentice It's pretty much the place to go for help or questions about SteemIt.
Perhaps they will let you check it out under supervision? If they do let you in and it seems like no one is in the #steemprentice channel, just use @rubellitefae, @sykochica, or @virtualgrowth in your message. We usually have many windows open and using the @ will notify us that you need attention.
