RE: [EP169] - Overuse injuries, the whys and whats...
Overuse injuries are super tough, especially since you've typically only gotten one because you get so gung-ho about trying hard -- and the only solution / remedy is slowing down and resting, which is hard to do when you're fired up about training.
I've recently tweaked a tendon in my wrist that I'm in the process of recovery for -- but it's proving to be difficult to not climb or do any weights (turns out that wrists get involved in just about anything/everything).
Great video, brotha.
Thanks dude!
I've been super scattered the past few weeks, and this week is looking to be the most intense, and then I'm hoping to get back to normal(ish) life next week and get some more exhaustin' on the board...
Wrists are a super rough one... it honestly feels like the weakest link in the entire upper body chain, but potentially the most crucial. Hope you get it healed and happy soonest.
Slowing down and resting, but also trying to build up all the surrounding bits, which is what I often struggle with... it's hard to know if you're building it up good or hurting it more.
