hmm...funnily enough, my answer to your question will not be so much about writing, but about the whole presentation of your content. As a visual person I'm drawn to patterns and design; and in all of your philosophical posts there is a sense of structure both visually and subjectively.
What i find appealing is how you choose the length of your lines, and how you communicate through the use of imagery that comes with your posts... its almost like witnessing a thought being unveiled as you flow through the words and images...
Its not so much about the moral of the message (though really interesting on it's own), but about the vivid YOU in it. (if that makes any sense)... It's the personality of your writing and your post as a whole that really draws me in... as you know i might even have some disagreement about the meat of the message, but there is a kind of aesthetic dimension to it, that i find beautiful - like roughness is balanced with poetic, and melancholy is mixed with ascension... hard to describe... but i think you know what i mean.
That is your strength and uniqueness.
and I second the idea of you writing a book :) but don't forget to include the visuals.
I’ve been wondering about the visual part, given the costs of printing books with coloured pictures would surely be a lot steeper, and not sure how I’d address the legality and complexity of sourcing images - as what I use here are typically just copy-and-pasted images from Pinterest and Google Images. Regardless, that’s some great feedback and something to consider, as could definitely be worth the extra troubles to have that visual side included...
First of all, I want to say I regret the fact that I didn't get to know you since two years ago that you've been writing on Steemit, maybe because I joined late last year, if I'd known you then, I would have probably been more like a pest (disturbing you to write a book) depends on how you see it though.
Like I once said before, I'm Libra and I won't see a positivity without making it a possibilityNever.
Anyway I'm a male, though most people/steemain regard me as a female, maybe because of the way I write or the way my name sounds...
Now back to the main matter...
What in particular have you found to be of great value in my writings, which you'd be happy to read more of and feel would benefit a bigger audience?
As for me, I like all your topics on metaphysics, astrology, Life and motivation Maybe because it's what I like to read about and you write about it....
Now let me make a little confession, I can also call it a secret though... PLEASE DONT GET OFFENDED WITH THIS; When I read any of your posts based on the topics I mentioned above, I use to feel you didn't write enough; you can do better and just decide not to write more because it probably makes no sense, thinking nobody will read it if it's too long.
I use to feel there are many point that you know, yet didn't state them due to the fact that you only post it on Steemit... That was what brought about the idea of telling you to make books, I'm sure it will be too content filled and no good reader who reads with discretion will want to let go... Please give it a try
What aspects of my writings have you felt are most unique and worthy of magnification on a scale that a successful book could provide?
This is a very big question for me to answer, In fact, I'll be looking forward to read other people's comment on this, because I can't say this is the most unique niche of your writing... All I know is that you know how to carry your readers along and that is the most important thing any writer needs to become a successful writer.
I don't know if I should call this a Prophecy or a Will but I know for sure that if you begin to write books based on the topics you've written on your blog so far, millions/billions of readers will not stop buying your books with time... This is not an exaggeration... It's what I feel and I hope it comes to past... And it's only you that can make it be...
Thanks for considering my suggestion sir...
Just like an article I'm about to post in my blog; I said taking decision is a very powerful thing.
The decision you take in just a little moment can change the whole world either positively or negatively so think it wisely before making it be.
Anyway I'm a male, though most people/steemain regard me as a female, maybe because of the way I write or the way my name sounds...
Might also be the profile pic with the drawing of the woman... lol. :-)
When I read any of your posts based on the topics I mentioned above, I use to feel you didn't write enough; you can do better and just decide not to write more because it probably makes no sense, thinking nobody will read it if it's too long.
This is part of the reason why I’ve felt limited/frustrated/discourages with Steemit - because expanding upon a lot of points I write about to their fullest kinda goes beyond the scope of the blog context and would require a greater length and depth than most attention spans last here.
I learnt that typically, posts here are best limited to 1000-1500 words. Proper elaboration on many concepts I could write about could extend way beyond that, however most readers here want stuff that’s fairly easily digestible and doesn’t take too long to read - versus a book, where they’re committed to the entire journey. Splitting into multiple posts is an option, but there’s still something different about reading a blog than a book - and the book format would definitely be more suitable for organizing such expansive, intertwining ideas in a contained structure, versus the blog format where content is either “too long” for what most readers are bargaining for, and there are the engrained habits that go along with the environment of jumping from one post to the next.
And of course, a book as a stand-alone work of art may be a vehicle better suited for delivering a key set of messages in their entirely, rather than blog posts which quickly get buried amongst thousands of others constantly being added to the platform...
And of course, a book as a stand-alone work of art may be a vehicle better suited for delivering a key set of messages in their entirely, rather than blog posts which quickly get buried amongst thousands of others constantly being added to the platform...
I could not agree lesser...now i see the limiting factor clearer
Hmmmmm... I understand the differences between a book and a post (article).... But I will be looking forward to both, I know you can, if you really want to... I'm aware you're 'Cancer', you told me that in a reply to a comment some days ago and Cancerians can be exceptionally superb in aspects like this, plus I have confirmed it myself...
What I mean by 'aspects like this' is something you know very well... I mean cancerians can be very creative, since they are more like the indoor types, they express themselves better when writing than talking, they are more likely to be shy, and shy people are very great and creative when they write things down, as far as I know, cancerians and Pisces are like the best song writers, book writers, best poet, they look very gentle like they don't talk but they talk more by expressing their feelings creatively in a documented manner.
I know a lot about cancerians, because my mom is one, and I so love her.... She was once a teacher and she's a very good poet, in fact, we sit to compose Poetries and poems together.... I also told her to write books but she kept telling me she's too old for that, encouraging me that I will do better.
You're even more skilled with writing, and you're cancer♋, I see cancerians as special people, I take every word that comes from their mouth as divine and special. @rok-sivante, you should look into it, I want to be one of your first readers. And I hope to also makeup something before this year runs out.
I’ve also got a few other placements in my chart that add up to a pretty powerful combination for writing (Pluto in 3rd, Jupiter in 4th, Neptune in 5th, Moon in Pieces in 8th, Mercury in Gemini, Leo in Venus in 12th - might be missing a couple others as well)...
The reason why I fell in love with your writing is your unparalleled skills of introspection and self reflection. You never try to defend yourself or shove something under the rug just to appear better. You take your (and humanly) shortcomings and vulnerabilities as an obvious part of the equation that leads to greater truths.. and not a lot of people can do that.
This might not help you with the book, but this is why I read and admire you. ^^
@rok-sivante, First of all i want to appreciate your idea to write the Book and in my opinion many think that every people cannot write their own Book but actually everyone can do that if they think they are appreciating their life and efforts, and every life story deserve an complete Documentation.
Whenever i visit to your blog, what i read about you is, you live the music and that is because your imagination, thoughts, efforts, your struggles and journey included the Music Aspect, and in my opinion it's not wrong if we can call you as "YOU are music and music is you" and there is an reason behind that and that is, i remember you've said couple of times that, there were phases no matter how much you've put your effort but your Musical Phase stood where it was and producing nothing. And when we still continue an journey in which we are facing the great obstacles, then it's showcase that you are living the music. And one more aspect is there, where you said you were so passionate about the music that, you've became DJ in Bali for four years.
And next aspect is, you've always tried to share your experience regarding the Spirituality and ASTROLOGY and these are really important subjects currently in this era where we are developed Technologically but in the matters of Spiritual and Astrological we are still following myths instead of self exploration and deep study.
And for sure, one aspect is your Steem Journey, as you said before that you never wanted to become the Blogger but you became an Steemian and had an great journey. So, in my opinion if you write an Book then Steemit will be there for sure.
And in my opinion one more aspect and memorable moment which you can writeup is, on your Birthday, you've sung a song before your family members and that song you've shared on Steem Blockchain too, so in my opinion that is one more aspect which is memorable for you in my opinion.
And as we always say one thing and that is, life is an journey, so you've once said that you've had very dynamic journeys and you also lived in many different places. And in my opinion when we hold dynamic journey then for sure we hold the life Experiences.
Ahh I remember your writing about how you took taking care of your health for granted when you were much younger, how sometimes pain warns us of a coming problem and if we are not attentive enough, we might end up paying for it in more ways. I really can't remember the title of that post, but I know it felt as though you were talking to me. You are an inspiration to me, I love to read your posts about your challenges and how you fight your battles. Your recent post about death and life shed light on things I like to close my eyes to, but really, looking at death from a different perspective is life. I like your take on philosophy and life experiences, I learn from them. I hope to see more of them in future. Thank you Rok...my rock :)
What aspects of my writings have you felt are most unique and worthy of magnification on a scale that a successful book could provide?
I just went through your posts again, they all seem to touch a wide variety of topics, I'm not sure a trio will suffice as you mentioned to cryptoandcoffee in the comment below, a trio yes, but of many trios, I notice you love to teach or guide or something in the middle of both through your writings, and they are actually legit, these kind of things dont end man,
I feel steemit is one of the best places for your writings as it can help serve as a published manuscript with immediate reviews before actually going into edited finalised published product as you want.
I feel steemit is just 1% of the great places your writings will come through...even now, a bunch of your posts are very well ready for trios and trios....
So even in the darkness of that statement, I see some light, I hope you now see it too..
What aspects of my writings have you felt are most unique and worthy of magnification on a scale that a successful book could provide?
Your posts cover spirituality, health, personality, motivation, advanced technology, truth, life, sooo broad! Tauchian Agoras! If these dont make a successful book, then I dont know what should, but then again its about the impact on the reader.
Very well said @mistakili, Steemit is like 1% of places @rok-sivante post will make impact, just like I said in my comment to this post, I said millions/billions of readers will patronize as time goes by...
All he needs to do is just to pick a pen and start up something, the idea will definitely flow... Its in him already.
You're very similar to me posting about life and different parts of it. I feel like our lives are a constant battle and there is lessons we get from it. Those lessons can be shared with others. Your recent post about death got to me
Hi rok. I enjoy the way you write. Most of the stuff i have read of yours has been quite full on but you managed to make it easier to read with your style. If someone else had written them I probably wouldn't have got half way. I think it is the way you get points across, even though it may be technical or complicated it doesn't . I hope that makes sense.
Any ideas on what you want to write about?
The greater challenge is narrowing them down, and/organizing into a structure where they can be effectively integrated as pieces for the larger puzzle. Might take 2 or 3 books as a starting point and triangulate their completion...

But of the 2 posts I read, I found the purpose you want to convey, in your post.
As in your post yesterday, I feel how many people feel anxiety about death ..
