RE: Feedback Required: What About My Writing Has Most Inspired & Impacted You...?

in #writing6 years ago (edited)

hmm...funnily enough, my answer to your question will not be so much about writing, but about the whole presentation of your content. As a visual person I'm drawn to patterns and design; and in all of your philosophical posts there is a sense of structure both visually and subjectively.

What i find appealing is how you choose the length of your lines, and how you communicate through the use of imagery that comes with your posts... its almost like witnessing a thought being unveiled as you flow through the words and images...

Its not so much about the moral of the message (though really interesting on it's own), but about the vivid YOU in it. (if that makes any sense)... It's the personality of your writing and your post as a whole that really draws me in... as you know i might even have some disagreement about the meat of the message, but there is a kind of aesthetic dimension to it, that i find beautiful - like roughness is balanced with poetic, and melancholy is mixed with ascension... hard to describe... but i think you know what i mean.

That is your strength and uniqueness.

and I second the idea of you writing a book :) but don't forget to include the visuals.

Awesome. Thank you.

I’ve been wondering about the visual part, given the costs of printing books with coloured pictures would surely be a lot steeper, and not sure how I’d address the legality and complexity of sourcing images - as what I use here are typically just copy-and-pasted images from Pinterest and Google Images. Regardless, that’s some great feedback and something to consider, as could definitely be worth the extra troubles to have that visual side included...

💖

definitely, I think you'll know best once you're in the process... everything is possible.
