RE: Una experiencia embarazosa con final feliz🫣😀😉

in #writingyesterday

I personally have had an unpleasant attitude toward Binance for a long time. They require verification and don't allow exchanges without it. But when I upload my paper passport, which I received back in 1999, they reject it, claiming it's fake, and demand a plastic one.

I still haven't been able to explain to these robotic idiots that in my country both paper and new plastic passports are equally valid, and that I don't have to change my passport... just for Binance.

Well, I understand that there is a way to talk to the operators, and present personal cases. It really must be very frustrating that they don't know how the documentation system works in different countries.

Yes, but in fact, it’s strange and unprofessional. On the one hand, they demand a passport from a citizen of a particular country, and on the other hand, they don’t even bother to understand what kinds of passports there might be in that country. Of course, the younger generation here already has new biometric passports, but according to the law, I am required to replace my paper passport when I turn 45.

Yes, I understand, it does seem unprofessional. Maybe they do it this way because of bad experiences with other users, and they prefer not to take risks. It's a shame...
