Arms training in Schwarzenegger's style
If we ask a person which part od Schwarzenegger's body was the most impressive, they would probably say that it was his chest or arms. His arms were perfection to which many people aspire even today.
Arnold's arm training was based on superseries for opposing muscle parts. This type of training gave him incredible intensity and pump. Thanks to this his biceps and triceps were growing incredibly fast.
This type od training is the best for people with some experience, but if you are just beginning at the gym you can start from 2 superseries and increase them over time.
Superseries are just a combination od two defferent exercises that you do without resting.
1 superseries:
incline bench dumbbell curl and cable curl - 4 series of 10/8 reps,
2 superseries:
standing barbell curl and two arm seated dumbbell extension - 4 series of 10/8 reps,
3 superseries:
EZ bar preacher curl and lying barbell extension - 4 series of 10/8 reps,
4 superseries:
bench dips and concentration curl - 4 series of 10/8 reps,
5 superseries:
EZ bar preacher reverse curl and barbell wirst curl - 4 series of 10/8 reps.
5 advices from Arnold whilst trining arms:
- use alternately dumbbell and barbell,
- try to get complete isolation of bicep or tricep and don't help yourself with other muscles,
- try to get the full range of motion in every rep,
- find your natural track of motion in every exercise,
- stay 100% focused on your workout and dont let anything distract you.
