You can do it manually from the extension tab or simply close and reopen Google Chrome.
Hey man, sorry to ask this but I am a cpu noob. I have the same question as above. I have the old one already. What do I do in the extension tab? I don't see any relevant info regarding an update.

Ah you mean shut down everything and start again for the reopen google chrome and it will automatically update?
It should. Otherwise, on the Chrome extensions Tab, there is an Update button.
Mine's been updating automatically; haven't had to worry since the first install. Love it. though. Thanks!
