Today's Mavic Air tidbit is the goggles! YES I said the goggles!! If you didn't know DJI makes a very nice set of FPV goggles for the Mavic series and Phantom 4 drones. The goggles themselves are ~$500 but they offer that real immersive experience which is an awesome out of body feeling as though you were flying yourself( this is what originally attracted me to drones). On the professional side these babies are super helpful if your are going for this kind of feel with your videos vs just looking down at your phone/tablet. The best part about these is that the connection is wireless so you don't have to worry about chords dangling from your head. One note for safety, if you are going to be using these a visual observer is a must(also the law since visual line of sight is a part 107 requirement)!! You will have no peripheral vision when wearing these so having someone there with you that is still maintaining a visual line of sight on the drone (and your back) is key!! Even with the addition of an extra crew member the DJI Goggles are definitely a step towards the future not to mention just plain fun!!!

Today's 107 tip is short but chockfull of test taking goodness this is the FAA website for drone pilots it has all of the information you need to know on how to register for the test, requirements for eligibility , costs , study materials EVERYTHING !! This is the number 1 resource for from the source information including the body of knowledge that the test is based on. This might be one simple link but I promise you an entire day can be spent here exploring the in's and outs of this part 107 thing. There's even quick links for registering your drone as a recreational pilot (still required if your drone weighs more than 0.55lbs that's on the part 107 test btw!!).

If you like what you see or have read then please hit that upvote button, resteem and follow me in my quest to get my part 107 certification and a drone to go pro with.

Thank you all for the continued support !!
