The Mandalorian - "The Believer"

Can we talk about how expertly the most recent episode "The Believer" was crafted? It's the first episode to really explore a theme – moral relativism/exploring the "gray" of seeming absolutes – that plays out not only in the story with Mando's compromise of his religion, but also as we the audience cheered on our hero defending Imperial resources and killing off a local "rebel" force, and also when we later sighed with relief as Imperial Tie Fighters saved the day?

Add on top of that Bill Burr's surprisingly great acting and Mayfield's arc; the incredible tension of the entire sequence from the terminal to drinking scene; the Slave I seismic charge callback; and my new favorite duo I'm dubbing as sniper BAEs.

I think it's my favorite episode of the season – and maybe the series – because it's the only one to really have a theme as well as explore it through the cinematic medium. There were flaws (anyone who isn't on the remaining Empire's shortlist can scan their face and get access to top secret records?), but I thought they were excusable given the overall execution.
