Far too simplistic and strident, my friend, more compassion is needed. This is a humanitarian crisis, not a security issue. Laws are made, by humans, and broken by humans. What is required, here, is for hearts to break open, and for immigrants (especially) legal or otherwise, to have heart. America continues to spit on the rights of natural citizens, American Indians, people of color while raping and murdering throughout the world. Don't fool yourself with this silly propaganda and give in to fear-mongering. What free, what brave... Don't believe the hype.
While I partially agree that this is not a black and white issue, there's no other way of handling this situation. If we let the caravan in, it sets the precedent for more to form. At the end of the day if we did nothing, all of Central America would be in the United States.
so long as we don't promote hate and keep our hearts clean, we shall be able to address this unfortunate situation, in a more sober manner.
