The Horde is Coming

The migrant caravan has been at the epicenter of the news for the last couple of weeks. It has been both lauded and vilified by members of the Democrats and Republicans respectively. It has once again stoked the fires of the debate on illegal immigration.

 
Illegal immigration is a topic which is highly divisive and controversial in the United States. There are those who would love nothing more than to abolish ICE and permit anyone and everyone into the country. Others would rather tighten border security, namely by building a wall.

Whichever side you are on, there is no refuting the simple and irrevocable fact that this migrant caravan is ILLEGAL.

Yes, you heard me. The migrant caravan is a symbol of lawlessness and the utter and complete disregard for the laws of the United States of America.

The migrant caravan, more akin to a Mongol horde is slowly and steadily creeping its way up to the borders of the United States. Should they be able to breach our border we will all be paying the costs that they will incur. As such, it is truly astounding how people have protested President Trump’s decision to dispatch troops to the border to keep them out. The cost of keeping troops at our southern border is minuscule compared to what the horde would cost us if they are allowed in.

I’m all for immigration, LEGAL immigration. We are a nation of laws, laws that need to be respected and followed. Under the former administration we have set a terrible precedent for this. We have set the example that you need only to sneak across the border and you’ll eventually be given citizenship. Under the previous administration, we’ve spat on those who have applied for immigration legally. In doing so, we’ve encouraged more and more people to enter our country and violate our laws.

I urge all my fellow Americans to expose the horde for what it is. A ploy by the insidious left to get more future voters. We need to come together as Americans and unanimously agree that illegal immigration is of the utmost importance to our country. We have to demand tighter borders and a no tolerance approach to those who spit upon our laws and enter our home of the free and the brave.
