RE: Thoughts On The State Of Steemit & Why Humility Is The Path To Wisdom
Hey my friend, yes I agree .. the system is broken, once you understand the scientific method you will see that elements (not all) of said method are also both broken and manipulated. We recently had a newspaper article (signed by 50 scientists) asking the UK government to lapse it's safety regulations around fracking in the heavily populated south-east of England .. research revealed that nearly all 50 were employed by said industry, the paper (The Guardian) never mentioned that little nugget of information.
Research and due diligence are now both a moral responsibility and an answer to those that serve their ignorance as your stupidity. Of course, outside research .. we should also (as long as it's framed in such a manner) have the freedom to speculate on different ideas. I'm very much with you on the economic front and in terms of crypto for the people and by the people .. I feel it is a race to the finish line (the system are at our heels) and that is why I feel that the #steemit social experiment (although the context that I'm discussing is broader and transcends a single platform) is far more important than many will realise. Thanks again for the great comment @star-man
