The High Court verdict to register Huda Trinamool BNP
The High Court has given the order to register the registration of BNP as a political party under the leadership of Nazmul Huda.
The High Court issued the ruling on the writ petition filed by former BNP leader Ruhul Amin and Justice Tariqul Hakim and Justice Md. Suhrawardy High Court Bench
Nazmul Huda himself heard the rule on the court, along with the lawyer Ashanur Rahman. Deputy attorney general Amatul Karim was present in the state. Advocate Touhidul Islam argued for the Election Commission.
Advocate Ashanur Rahman later told bdnews24.com, "The Election Commission has been directed to immediately register the Trinamool BNP registration."
The court heard the opinion of former Attorney General AF Hassan Arif, former Additional Attorney General MK Rahman and lawyer Shahdin Malik as Amicus Curie in the hearing.
Najmul Huda, who was expelled from BNP, formed three groups named Bangladesh National Alliance Front (BNF), Bangladesh National Alliance (BNA) and Bangladesh Human Rights Party (BMP) at different times. As the grassroot BNP is its fourth party, its fourth party is its fourth party.
The Election Commission gave a letter on June 14 rejecting the registration of grassroots BNP. There is no reason to apply for registration within the stipulated time, there is no reason why the government does not submit the scheduled challan charge and registration.
Nazmul Huda filed a writ petition challenging the Election Commission's decision. The High Court issued the rule on August 14 for the initial hearing of the petition.
The rules are being asked to explain why the Election Commission (EC) will not be directed to register grassroot BNP as a political party. It is also asked why the decision to not register the party is not illegal.
After hearing the rule, the High Court on Sunday gave verdict for Nazmul Huda.
