3 Buddha Statue of Baekjae Dynasty Caved on The Rock in Detail

There are 3 Buddha statues on this rock as I posted those in previous posting.

Center is Shaka Buddha

Let's look at Shakamuni Buddha's face closer.

Do you feel the mysterious expression of this smile ? It looked like alive.

Hand part of Shaka

Right is the Future Buddha, Maitreya.
Sitting position crossing one leg and meditating deeply.

Maitreya is also smiling.

Left is the Past Buddha.

Wow it's amazing! All are smiling! By looking at the face I could see that! But I think craft men of these statue mean more from this face smiling! Wonderful photography, you shared them very detail way! Thank you and really appreciate your effort! This is the first time I have seen this type of stone craft in Korea!

@slowwalker, Those Shakamuni Buddha, Maitreya Buddha and Past Buddha looking to so close seems all faces keep smile. Yep..It looks live from faces. Their faces had most mediation expressions. Absolutely perfect closer captures you uploaded there. I'll visit Korea within next year to see amazing carved technology. Resteemed.

Always glad to see such ancient work...so masterfully done and the images wer so beautifully carved out of the stone.
One thing i never knew about the three buddha....shaka- maytreya and past......all of them looks real....not sure if they sending message too...past is smiling so does the present(shaka) and future is meditiating as hoping for the best
