Arriving into Turkey
I started my Turkey trip on 26th of March, it was a 10 days visit to this Country which was always my wish to travel. There are some places here, which I wanted to visit and see them once in my life, like the Thermal Pools of Antalya and the Underground city of Cappadocia. All of these places, I had seen only in pictures and to see them in real was a very wonderful experience. They were much more attractive then in pictures. I was so excited for this holiday, as it was a family holiday after a very long time, and glad we did this, we really spend some quality time together 3 of us.
Sharing some moments of our day 1 journey to Istanbul. It was a 5 hours flight, not very long and not short either. Hubby works for Oman Air so we had the privilege of flying comfortably in business class, which is always a blessing for long flights as seating becomes comfortable.
This was at Muscat airport when hubby is completing the check-in formalities and me and my son are busy clicking some pictures during the wait :-)
Flight was comfortable, but I did not enjoy the meals, anyways we are soon arriving into Istanbul and the views are getting beautiful.
The terrains are changing from snowy to greens.
It's almost landing time
This piece of art was there near the baggage collection area, looks very pretty.
Such a fine piece of art it is.
After coming out of the airport, we had to wait for quite some time because our cab guy was late, at that time did not feel it much because of all the excitement.
He arrived after almost half an hour and from here on our tour started.
