@michaeljn, Nice! I'd love to live here long term like that. You learn any Dutch in that time frame?
I had such a great time and being a student you can imagine just how much fun we had. lol
I speak Afrikaans a South African language which is a derivative of Dutch, the 2 languages are very similar.
So I could speak Afrikaans and they would understand and I could understand dutch because of Afrikaans, so it was fairly easy to communicate.

@michaeljn, I can certainly imagine lol. Man that's really cool though with the Afrikaans. I never would have associated those two languages together. Take care brotha! 🤙🏼
