Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @dimiimp:

The Roman Catholic church on Peace Square (Náměstí Míru) in honor of the "mother of Czech lands" St. Ludmila (Kostel sv. Ludmily) impresses with its Gothic architecture. Even from a distance, in perspective, the streets of Yugoslav (Jugoslávská), the strict outlines of the church draw attention to themselves. I liked the three-nave facade of the building - two tall bell towers with clocks look very good. On the square are "delicious" fair. On one of these lucky to go. Very nice.

I rewarded @dimiimp entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Donjon, Rokštejn Castle, Cezech-Moravian Highlands, Moravia (Czech Republic)

Donjon, (tower i left) it means Last Defense Tower. It was the last place the defenders of the castle retreated when all the defensive zones were broken.
All the property was left in the palace. A steady supply of water, food, arrows and stones was kept on the tower.
But this donjon did not resist. It was dug and burned from the side.

Prague Castle
You can't miss this attraction when you come to Prague. It is sumptuous, fascinating, full of things to see, all beautiful but at the same time it is the seat of political action and this motivates the controls at the entrance. A must see

The St. Barbara's cathedral is in a place with spectacular views, it has no buildings attached which makes it look more impressive. Inside there are stained glass windows from the beginning of the twentieth century, which makes it look more modern, it is not worth entering it is more beautiful to stay and admire it outside because it is expensive.

Sedlec Ossuary
This place is quite different than anything you would see. It's adorned by human bones! There is a strange sense of beauty which comes from the bone decoration. The cages with bones inside makes you shudder as if the bones are asking be freed at least now! My advice, don't have anyone walking behind you here, coz a simple tap on the shoulder could give you a shock :D

✨Happy Easter Sunday✨ with a photograph of this little lamb born at the Czech village Konárovice during my stay there...! ~ Truth be told same birth did not occur in spring but later summer which was an amazing surprise and really unexpected event...! For a short while I became almost a ˋsecond mother figure´ for this lovely boy here...! He was incredibly trusting and lovely like most newborn babies - arriving fresh from source - are ~ 🤗🌟 ~ So I greatly hope my for the contest rather unusual impression will make someone smile during these Easter days :)

St. Vitus Cathedral
A truly stunning building, both outside and inside. The interior has so many amazing details and interesting stories. If you're lucky enough to be there on a sunny day, the stained glass windows shine such a beautiful shadow on the walls and it looks magical.

The Church of St. Ludmila is a neo-Gothic Roman Catholic church at Náměstí Míru in Prague's Vinohrady, built on plans of Josef Mocker in 1888–1892. It is named in honor of St. Ludmila of Bohemia. It is a brick-made three-aisle basilica with a transversal nave in the shape of the cross.

The square is the heart of Prague! Full of restaurants and crystal shops, with many tourists and many attractions. The facades of the buildings are fantastic and the square houses the famous astronomical clock. We are located around the main attractions of Prague. You can find restaurants of various specialties, as well as souvenir shops and crystals.

Statue of Franz Kafka
It will surely surprise you the first time you see it. The day is more impressive, especially with sunlight, but at night with less movement around it and more distinctive lighting you will better understand its construction and operation. It is a statue - a head that changes shapes every few seconds.
