Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - North American Friday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 Steem!
Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of North America.

Cuban women walking in Santiago de Cuba. Santiago de Cuba has some impressive colonial buildings, but most parts of the city are rather poor. I loved exploring these parts of the city, but every few metres someone asked me if I was lost - little tourists ever leave the center. In the districts outside of the center, people are very friendly and nobody is trying to make a quick buck by scamming tourists.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 Steem in total.

Karijini National Park is an incredible area of hidden gorges and waterfalls in the middle of the Western Australian desert. Reaching the swimming holes is quite literally coming across an oasis in the desert.

Beautiful male iguana chilling on a cliff with the turquoise Caribbean Sea in the background on the Mexican island of Isla Mujeres. Located just a short ferry ride from Cancun, the island offers wonderful beaches and some stunning landscapes too.

San Gimiagno is probably my favourite town during my Tuscany trip a few years ago. The town is famous for its towers, a sign of wealth in the old day. The wealthier you are, the taller a tower you will build.

ColorChallenge - Purple Sunday - @axman in 7 World's Continents Photo Challenge!
One of many impressive street art pieces found on the Mexican island of Holbox. Located on the north coast of the Yucatán Peninsula, the island is separated from the mainland by 10 km of shallow lagoon that is home to flamingos, pelicans and other rich birdlife.
The picture was taken during my first visit to Los Angeles in 2012. It was a great experience to see the Hollywood lettering in real. At that time I had no experience what the best setting on the camera for a sunset is so it is unfortunately not perfectly exposed.
Wow, I think I have never seen the sign to be photographed from this spot. Very interesting. I wonder what trail you took in the Griffith Park back then...
Thank you. If I remember correctly then it was in front of the griffith observatory. From there you have a good view
Photo below is from my first travel back in Spetember 2014. Bryce NP was the first national park on our travel, so that is why it has a special value. That was my first travel overseas and I fell in love immediately.

Grandest Canyon
It's taken the Colorado River and other forces in nature about 6 million years to carve out the Grand Canyon. The narrowest point in the canyon is 1798 feet and the widest is 18 miles with a maximum depth of just over 6000 feet. My son and I made it to the North Rim just in time to get off a couple of shots at sunset. Grand Canyon, Arizona USA.
This is build week at Burning Man, a festival in the Nevada Desert. One of the first sunrises before the event started, no art, no parties, just a big dusty road heading to an empty expanse yonder.

I love castle, ok this is not a real castle but still is cool to see. The Excalibur Hotel from Las Vegas, is inspired by the Knights of the Round Table. Inside, we can not see pieces of art, armor or gold plates, but nice shows and lots of slot machines.
The Niagara falls at night. They are illuminated with light changing color, some night they even have fireworks over the falls, but not the night I was there. Maybe next time.
