Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #62 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

After today´s Asian photo contest, the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on next Sunday.

• Monday: Australia and New Zealand
• Tuseday: Antarctica + the world’s oceans
• Wednesday: Africa
• Thursday: Europe
• Friday: North America
• Saturday: South America

See the winner of the last week´s Asian Sunday @amyalfatasya with the following entry:

A fish farm in Aceh Indonesia. I took this picture at sunset yesterday. For the people of Indonesia, this fish pond is to help the family economy. If you visit Aceh, you will get a lot of these fishponds.

I took this photo at the Great Wall, near Beijing. As it can be seen the weather was very foggy, due to pollution. It was difficult to see the awesome landscape of mountains. I took the photo some years ago in the months of August. Even though the effect of "layering mountains" give a nice effect in the image.

What a great place. Just a shame we are destroying our planet like this. Not sure how long this can last.

Koh Mak, Thailand

A lonely Beach on Koh Mak. Koh Mak lays near Koh Chang in the easterly gulf of Thailand and is part of the province of Trat. For me this is one of the last hidden gems of Thailand.

The beauty of Hunza in Pakistan although nowadays because of snow the roads might be blocked but during the summer it is heaven on Earth a must visit place for tourists.

Those are some stunning mountains. Well done!

hunza ppl were some of the healthiest ppl living on the planet and living above 100 years old! beautiful scenery!

Absolutely true because they eat fresh products not processed like us.

I´ve visited a truly mesmerizing place called Jatiluwih, North of Bali, where you can see huge rice terraces with breathtaking views. You can clearly see subak irrigation ( Bali traditional water management system) for rice field awarded by UNESCO as World Heritage Cultural Landscape. Perfection ! I still don´t understand how people could create it. Isn´t it greeny - amazing?

It sure is very green, stunning!

Kinkaku-ji in Autumn

I got back to Taipei from Japan earlier this week. Travelling this photogenic country in autumn was amazing, especially in Osaka and Kyoto the fall foliage was incredibly beautiful. On the downside, popular sights such as the Kinkaku-ji in Kyoto where I captured this photo were very crowded.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

Oh man, you do travel extensively. Keep on taking those amazing pics while at it:)

U Bein Bridge in Mandalay, Myanmar crosses the Taungthaman Lake, it is made from planks of teak taken from an old royal palace. The day I visited was a spectacular sun set and I was able to capture these amazing colours and the silhouettes. of the people crossing

What a spectacular sunset, thank you so much for sharing.

Volcano Bromo in Java
This is the steaming crater of Mount Bromo, the famous volcano on Java. If you want to read more about our hike up there visit our post:
Sunrise at Mount Bromo without paying anything!

Wow, what a place! Little scary though:)

Mohammed Bin Ahmed Almulla Mosque

Amazing example of architecture - this mosque is located in the center of Dubai at famous Dubai Marina promenade. Completely surrounded by skyscrapers it is perfectly visible from the inside aquatory of Dubai Marina.
Shot from the deck of small tour ship making a trip around the inner aquatory just on sunset when illumination was only switched on

Enjoy the beauty!

Thank you so much for your participation. Have a great start of the week.

Still a lot to see and photograph in Sri Lanka, but the sunsets here are lovely, if the weather collaborates. This one was enjoyed from the huge beach near Tangalle, a small town in the south.

At the ending of the day, when the sun is setting and the sky shine of warm colours comes the best time to get the board out. Bali is a nice place to do so and I always loved sitting on the beach watching the show!
