Respect the marginalised.

No trans person has ever demanded I agree with their personal theories on gender and sexuality. The only thing they've ever demanded is exactly what they should demand: the same right to dignity and peace as everyone else.

You don't have to understand, care about, or agree with any particular understanding of gender to believe that everyone deserves equal rights and opportunities, and that the biggest threat to any culture is always powerful men who demonize the marginalized.
