Tiangong 1: Chinese satellite falls to Earth, mostly burns up on re-entry
Chinese space specialists say Tiangong 1, the nation's dead and apparently wild space station, re-entered the Earth's environment Sunday night, for the most part wrecking over the focal South Pacific. The China Manned Space Engineering Office says online that the trial space lab re-entered around 8:15 a.m. nearby time Monday.
The tumbling shuttle postured just a slight hazard to individuals and property on the ground, since the greater part of the 8.5-ton vehicle was required to wreck on reentry.
