Joshua Tree National Park!
Hi Steemit Friends!!
Once again it's been a while since I've posted, and I've missed you all!
How has everything been in Steemit land?
This week Mark and I headed out to Joshua Tree, California... it's soooooo beautiful out here so I wanted to share some pics!!
First of course, we picked up some coffee!
Then headed into the national park... look at this magnificence...
We meditated a little...
And at sunset, we admired the yucca trees 💗
I hope you're all having a great day, and I'll post again soon I promise!
xo Bonnie
Yay!! Your back!!
Yes!! What have I missed? 😎
Lol oh not much, just a small hard fork that didnt really affect anything #HF20
Lol. It was like that
Oh dear, I don't know what that means... but @mattclarke's gif looks a little dramatic haha!
Lol while you were away, the steem blockchain had a planned hard fork, which caused extreme chaos for about a week no one could interact on Steemit at all
Oh my goodness, I had no idea!! Glad it seems to be functioning ok now!
See what happens when you leave us!!
Good to see you back Bonnie 💃❤️
Thanks @travelgirl! Hope you're well! 💗
Hi Bonnie; that looks lovely. Bet it got cold when the sun went down, the desert doesn't hold that heat for long.
We're doing really well. A lot of attention has shifted to Steem monsters, which is pretty great, and should bring some new punters in - Watch one of my recent battles - Here.
Ned is launching a new, secret project, called Destiny, but there's no real detail yet.
Everyone's madly voting to be listed/carried with netcoins; which is an organisation rolling out thousands of crypto ATMs.
Here at home, we're starting to amp up preparations for the TeamAustralia Christmas party at @bearone's house in Katoomba. We have a lovely air bnb rental nearby to fill with revellers.
It's all going pretty great. Yourselves? Tail end of Summer's always a little melancholy.
Thanks for the update Matt, it does sound like it's been quite eventful! Yay re TeamAustralia's Christmas party!
Things have been busy here, yes things are definitely cooling off but at least we get pretty constant sun in California anyway!
Welcome back Bonnie. Wow those are wonderful pics, I love that kind of landscape.
Thanks @ikar59! Yeah it's such a beautiful place
Hey Nice to see you again! :) :) :) :)
That sky in the last pic looks amazing. So pretty!
Yaaay good to see you back! Joshua Tree is such a stunning place and you guys captured it beautifully. The colors in that sunset shot are amazing.
Good to hear from you again!
I visited Joshua Tree NP about a year and half ago. It was stunning! Both during the day and at night where it was astoundingly dark.
I also liked the abrupt change between the 2 deserts when you come over the hill between them. They look so disparate.
