Remote Classroom Issues

I had my first remote classroom problem in a while. First, a reminder about our setup: We use a common Skype always on meeting for our classroom and additional ones for all our students. We also use a Slack for just the teacher and the TEALS volunteers.

Well today, all our meetings expired with no warning. I threw up a temporary meeting for the whole classroom but we lost access to interact individually with each student. We'll have to get set up with all new classrooms this weekend. So the moral of the story is: Make sure you know when your classrooms are expiring!

This also has me thinking more strongly about using Slack alone to for a virtual classroom. I have to think on that more so look for a full post at some point.
