Street Food: 'Lontong Sayur Kak War'
If you visit Indonesia, you will find a streetfood name that is quite familiar, we call it Lontong Sayur. I also don't really understand since when Lontong Sayur began to exist in Indonesia, but you can easily meet it in every corner of the city.
Lontong is a food made from rice, a type of Ketupat (Eid Mubarak food), only packaged in a different way in the process of making it (ketupat wrapped in coconut leaves, while the lontong banana leaves) can be categorized the same as the rest.
Called Lontong Sayur because the streetfood is served with cooked vegetables using coconut starch. The vegetables in it are like; young jackfruit, Japanese pumpkin, long bean.
As an additional variation, usually rendang, taucho, fried chili sauce (anchovies and tempeh) are provided so that the flavor of the mixture is more varied, a little peanut sauce is added.
Today I am in Streetfood, Lontong Kak War, one of the well-known Lontong culinary stalls in my city. for information only, the lovers of Lontong Sayur are the majority of women here, so streetfood "Lontong Sayur kak War" rarely looks lonely.
You can bring home or enjoy it here, incidentally today I chose to settle here and enjoy lontong sayur. The price of one serving is only IDR 5000, - you can also add a fried menu, one piece of fried food is priced at IDR 1000. Although streetfood, Lontong Sayur kak War also provides a variety of drinks, such as Warm Tea, Coffee Sachet, and other cold drinks, and still street price, cheaper but tasteem.
