Depress Fest😭/ Residence Permit Obtaining Issues😩
You know when you feel sad and feel down you have this sudden urge to listen to sad songs, watch sad movies and feel even more sad?
I was so depressed today, it was a depression fest for me and my hubby
I’m trying to get my residence permit to move to Europe, applied exactly one year ago and got rejected, then dried up my tears and reapplied in July 2017 again, did my interview and still waiting up till now. It’s been half a year since the second application.God knows how many papers we have collected...
What’s the most frustrating - no one is able to tell us how much more time it will take, we just have to sit and “patiently” wait. But I already have this “luggage” kinda mood, can’t wait anymore just want to settle in one place and get my life going. Feels like I’m stuck somewhere in between the worlds😔
The decision after interview can take them up to one more year...
I think after all we have been through with this, I’m gonna seriously get drunk when I get the positive result and get drunk even more if the result will be negative, and I’m not even a drinker!

Stay strong, keep beiliving, have end goal but live in the right now moment because next to you still got your hubby :). I know what it feels like as mine took 7 years to come throught....

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I'm sure it will work out in the end! I'm going through a similar issue right now with getting my residence permit for China. The problem is more to do with the whole country more or less shutting down for Spring Festival for two weeks though.

I understand, I remember I was also preparing a bunch of docs for my residence permit, not fun at all
Dealing with government beauracrcy is such a nightmare it can take so long and is so frustrating

ps - drinking is not always the answer to a negative problem, sometimes it can make the depression worse! That being said... sometimes a drink is all you need!

What a complicated problem, I have never experienced it so can not share my experience here. I'm just sorry about the problem you're facing. Hopefully this problem will be resolved soon and the results will match your expectations.
A little advice, if sad should not be too deep with the sadness. Because it will be bad for your psychology and your health. Keep the spirit and do not give up, if it fails then try again and again.
