RE: Puerto Rico is Showing again the Importance of Gold and Silver
Great article @goldenarms. I have lived off grid for over 10 years and we work hard to live off the land as much as possible. Good health, knowledge and experience would serve us well in the event of a disaster. I have also stated for years that we cannot depend on fictional constructs such as fiat currency, electronic currency, etc. We must find ways to use physical constructs like commodities to trade with and being able to add value could make the difference between life and death. What you wrote about is bang on and I agree 100%. We started growing tobacco as it would give us a great commodity to trade with and for ceremonies as well. Being able to provide for all our own needs is critical as man made infrastructures are fragile and will fail. Bravo!
