Being a community, we in Steemph.antipolo, would like to support our members who are creating quality blogs. Starting today we will be picking at least 5 blogs each day that we will feature for added exposure. There will be no category as long as the post, as we feel, deserves more attention. it can be a personal story, an astonishing captured photo, or a ridiculous meme. The possibilities are endless. Today we have chosen 5 blogs that really touches our hearts, catches our eyes and really made us laugh.

Beyond the chocolates!

For our first edition, our cover image is steemian @glaiza. Glaiza is an English teacher here at the Philippines. Her chosen blog is about a teacher's story. With all the devotion towards their job, teachers in the Philippines is seriously underpaid. In her story, she received a gift of chocolate set from a father of her student who has been working in abroad as a seaman for quite some time. But behind the chocolates that did make her happy and her co-teachers, the real perks of her as a teacher which is more than the chocolates is to see her student this coming graduation marching towards the stage. For teacher Glaiza, the chocolate is just a bonus. Aside from seeing his students take their final bow in their grade level, the happiness of the father was also priceless for her.
A feeling of fulfillment that no amount of branded chocolates can cover. Despite the fact of having an underpaid passion, teacher Glaiza describes her noble job as both exciting and rewarding

"As the adviser of the graduating class, nothing equals the feeling I get knowing that my students who I have devoted time, effort, patience and love will be marching up on stage not only with awards and honors but with pride, hope and confidence to face the REAL LIFE.".

We chose this story as a cover image of Steemph.antipolo today for the virtues it implies and how it open our minds to a teacher's life. Beyond the chocolates, it was the love for the work, the love for the students and witnessing a fathers accomplishment. A story that deserves more attention.

********Celebrating with distant Father********

This blog will catch your heart. It is about a father who remembers celebrating his own father's birthday even if he is from far away. Even if tired of his own responsibilities, @johnpd didn't forget to celebrate his father's birthday. There was a simple dinner even if the celebrant was not there
Honestly, once you read the article you feel that there is a longing for a father's presence in his own birthday. This reminds us of the countless fathers out there who work hard to provide for his family's needs even if it means sacrificing his own life. For the sake of being a good provider, a father will bear the pain of being away for the betterment of his loved ones. When was the last time you appreciate your Papa's efforts? Though they are not that affectionate they too need an affirmation from his family.

Last but definitely not the least is this funny meme that balances it all.

We chose this picture because of its cuteness. It has a picture of a sad baby but still absolutely cute. Surely everyone can relate to its caption. It is about the low SBD rate but your birthday is coming. Yours truly hasn't done any withdrawal since SBD fall into 3Usd. Oh! SBD rise up baby Kieth's 1st birthday is coming. Please, she wants to throw the greatest party ever. (and the author wants to buy the shoes in the department store, haha)
