Why is SteemPeak better than Steemit as a user interface?
After just a few hours using the SteemPeak I know I will never use Steemit again. There are so many ways in which I feel like they have surpassed Steemit. Click the link and watch the above film to get my full review.

SteemPeak, a closer look...
The first thing which blew me away was the full page format our posts can be viewed in.
Easily viewable
Not only does it look great, I was really impressed that both YouTube & DTube films play in this format, permitting us to scan through films without having to open the posts.
Portfolio view
Once enabled, the Portfolio view shows our work using the first image from each post. Reminds me of Instagram. Simple but effective.
Notifications
Notifications (the little bell in the top bar) permits us to know when something happens.
The difference between this and what Busy have created are the four different options we can adjust: votes, rewards, transfers & rewards. Now we can choose what we want to be notified about!
Personally I enjoy knowing when people have written me messages. This way I can better keep up with responding to them.
Drafts
Having the option to save drafts is like a dream come true. Now I can write 20 articles at the same time!
Templates
Steemit offers a 'signature' for our posts but SteemPeak takes it further by giving us the chance to have as many 'templates' as we like. If we are looking to develop a bunch of different series at the same time, this is perfect.
Bookmarks
We can bookmark posts to read later and they will be neatly collected in an easily assesible bookmarks page.
Estimated income
We can even estimate our monthly income, where we can also quickly see the average value of our voters upvotes.
Dashboard
Last but not least, here is the Dashboard page showing stats for our account. A really cool feature.
There are plenty of other awesome features I haven't mentioned here so I strongly suggest you check it out. Something tells me you will never look back.
Chatting in their Discord group yesterday I learned that private messages and autovoting are on their roadmap, which is a great sign for the future.

How do I get DTube videos to play embedded in SteemPeak? I've been trying all sorts of code, unsuccessfully. I'm with you on the SteemPeak interface. No comparison with Steemit! I'm hooked and want to get people to come on over and join us. Resteemed your review post. Thanks for making it.
Dtube films should play automatically in Steempeak, just like Youtube films. At least they do for me.

I don't have the same auto-embed video feature as you, apparently. Example below. But yes, SteemPeak is head and shoulders above the Steemit interface for functionality. There's a lot more I can get done in SteemPeak without going to SteemWorld. The voting value slider is a really useful feature. Templates and Schedule are the best features, if you ask me. No, no wait - the filter resteem button is the best! LOL! Like Frot, who comments here too, I still keep a Steemit window open for the list view. If you're quickly scanning, that's the best format.
I have bookmarked (another wonderful SteemPeak feature) your post and will resteem again and/or feature a link to the video in future posts about SteemPeak.
Back to the problem: Neither Steemit nor SteemPeak auto-embed DTube or DLive for me.

FYI @steempeak - I'd be happy to help you troubleshoot the issue, if you are the programmer. Just noticed the big gap between my last text block and this one. It's the embed script with defined dimensions. It's reading the script, but doesn't like the video format. See? I can help! :D
One of my (@jarvie) favorite reviews... you seemed to really grasp what we're going for and I'm impressed how in one day you grasped all those benefits you'd personally be getting. Already using templates, drafts, bookmarks and found the benefit of action queue, portfolio, night mode and portfolio.
I dare say many of our users don't find out some of this stuff for a while. haha

Do you know if steempeak has a percentage beneficiary on posts generated on their site. I know d.tube takes 20% author rewards, I was wondering if steempeak does something similar?

My pleasure to share something which ultimately has the potential to take over from Steemit. We have been waiting a long time for something like this :)
Anyone waiting for Steemit to change their interface will be waiting forever. I am going to check it. Chainbb was ok but it's gone, Busy is ok but some more features would be nice, I am going check steempeak
I agree. No point in waiting around waiting for things to change when they are already changing elsewhere. Steemit inc have bigger fish to fry right now with the HF and SMTs around the corner. It seems logical that a company who don't have to think about these aspects are better able to focus on the design of the site.
SteemPeak has so much potential and I'm trying it out right beside Steemit.
BUT
It still only has two interfaces which I find unusable - grid (wall of noise) or massive great pictures too big to scroll through.
All I want is Steemit list view in dark mode. Most of the other stuff I already had with more info on Firefox. And I want to see small size clean lists of my comments and replies - just like on Steemit.
When it gets a list view like Steemit, I'll switch over in the blink of an eye. But at this point it just doesn't work.
I hear you. And I understand this feature is coming... so keep watching.
Though personally I quite enjoy that wall of noise ;)
I'll try the wall of noise again - I can see the site is way more advanced, but the way the pictures rearrange themselves when I'm scrolling is a bit disorienting.
