Tales of Rewards - 22 April 2019

Today, I had a Water Splinter quest. I thought about getting a new one, but I decided to give it a go. The thing with the Water Splinter is it's just not appropriate for every ruleset, and I only played it when I thought there was at least a slight chance of it working out.

I guess it's working out okay, because I'm back in the top ten on the leaderboard again

I'm trying to just play less, but it doesn't always work out that way. Enough to finish the quest without (hopefully) losing too many times and just dropping on the leaderboard, which is what I've been known to do in the past.

I'm playing all max level cards in most matches at this point, though. For the longest time, I was struggling through the Diamond and Champion leagues with a lot of cards that still had lots of leveling up to do.

While there are still many that I need to max out, I'm finding that you can basically rent any beta card that comes in Booster packs for $.01 a day or so, for max level. While I work on my own cards, I'm just renting a few of those to round it out. I've noticed that rewards cards and stuff aren't really available on the rental market, at least not to the same extent. There are some people putting cards up for ridiculously high prices, and you'll basically only see those if you're looking to rent one of the rewards cards.

So, anyway, I've been going on about a bunch of stuff, but this is supposed to be a tale of rewards. So, without further delay, here are the cards I received for today's aforementioned quest.

Not much to write home about, unfortunately.
