STEEMJET MUSICAL - Proposal for a steemjet music contest
Hello members of the steemjet community, the steemit journey this year has been worthwhile thanks to many that keeps supporting this great community and one person that stands out is @dimimp who has taken it upon himself to distribute steem to the world. The steemjet boasts of the best of talents on the steemit community, the graphics department has been staffed with great graphic designers and one department that is still growing is the musical department and music happens to be a great tool in the modern society and many times we have seen different companies use musicians to promote their brand because basically everyone loves music.
In view of promoting and improving the steemjet community I have come up with a proposition for the community (STEEMJET MUSICAL) that I believe will bring more talented individuals to the steemjet community most especially to the music department. This is a contest that will bring the best talented voices on steemit to the steemjet community and as well bring much fun and excitement to the community.
Structure Of Steemjet Musical Contest
First stage
The first stage of the contest will be selection and announcement of judges and I suggest a total number of 5 judges be selected and my nominations will be @mrprecious who happens to be the musical director of the steemjet music department and has years of experience with music competitions. My second nomination for the position of a judge is @etemi who is also a member of the spaceforce and has come out top on many music contests. I'll also nominate myself as I have ears for good voices and some other members of the spaceforce should be selected to be judges.
Second stage
The second stage is the audition stage and this will see various contestants submit video entries within a period of seven days using the #steemjetmusical
Third stage
In this stage the judges will give their top 20 picks from the videos submitted in the audition stage and these top 20 contestants will go on to submit their second video entries for the competition.
Fourth stage
In this stage the judges will pick top ten entries submitted by the contestants which means 10 contestants will be dropped and the competition will proceed to the semi final stage. The top ten contestants will be requested to drop another video entry for review.
Fifth stage
From the videos submitted by the judges will select three entries while members of the spaceforce and the community will select two entries with votes. These five entries will proceed to the final stage of the competition.
Final stage
In the final stage the top five contestants will be asked to drop 2 videos, one will be their original song and the other will be their personal composition for the official steemjet anthem. The judges will review these videos and release results for 1st place, 2nd place and third place respectively.
REWARD SYSTEM
The selected judges should be rewarded in steems as deemed fit by @dimimp for their efforts in the competition.
The top ten entries can be granted slot in the spaceforce if they are not already part of the spaceforce
Rewards in steems should be given to top 5 constants according to their position and the first position should be given a slot in spaceforce one.
I believe this proposition if approved will bring much recognition to the steemjet community and I also use this medium to seek for a slot in the spaceforce so I can join the brilliant team in moving steemjet forward.

I like @Langford's idea so much...
So here's my humble opinion sir... Since it's coming under the steemjet space force, maybe @langford should be incorporated into the music department, just so that himself and @Mrprecious, as well as every other members of the music department can pull this off..in the end we'll all be happy!

Solved
There's absolutely no need for you guys to have issues over something as simple as this. You have a great idea which support. But there's an established music department and I'm trying as much as possible to Foster collaboration and team work among the Steemjet Spaceforce.
What I suggest you do is reach out to the music department and discuss how to run this thing. You guys will then make a step by step solid plan on achieving this and if it is your initiative, it will be credited to you.
On the issue of funding, such great initiative will require funding whether at the beginning or at some point in the future. So, I'll want you guys to reach out to each other and share ideas on how to make the music unit very effective. This is a great community, we are brothers and I do know want to see break aways.

I'll need you to decide how much steems you will like to give to the winner and also how much you will want to pay the judges then you can send to me.
I'll like to work with @adamzi (spaceforce 7 member) @yourmercury (spaceforce 7 member) @benlegend-1 (spaceforce 7) and @juderoyal as part of the team of judges
If you also want me to give you an estimate of how many steems it will cost I can do that too sir. I just want you to make a suggestion first sir @dimimp
Conflict and name calling would not settle this.
We need harmony in the space force. Every one that wants to work should work.. We all have our reports to @dimimp let us work and Go forward.

You guys should all take into cognisance the main reason for steemJet. @dimimp know very much the existence of a music department. He obviously read the post and saw where @langford wrote that this would be run by the music department. The lad has brought an Idea that @dimimp deems worthy of organising. @mrprecious is supposed to see this and respect The Imp's decisions and not question his memory.
It's a great proposal, i hope the Grandmaster @dimimp approves it.
