Shocking ..... and Inspiring

Tim responded; “When you eventually write your book, you will constitute 1% of the worlds’ authors.” Puzzled I asked; “Why only 1%?” He indicated that the world is full of ‘authors’, everyone says they are going to or are writing a book but only 1% actually get the job done.
I needed no further motivation. Early 2009 I got the job done.
It took me four months to complete a 165-page workbook titled Renovate Your Life. My writing took place mainly between 3am and 11am almost daily. I could not have accomplished that feat without Divine intervention and when I read the book I often question who wrote it.
Because this work required much self-reflection, a life re-examined while, I appreciated the ‘healing’ companionship of the Holy Ghost. This journey included amongst a host of other challenges, understanding my life as an addict, failed relationships and the origin of the anger that had become ‘resident’ in my life.
Please to meet you @allandharvey. I just read up a bit about you. I also aspire to write a book. Devotionals for couples. Maybe I should start soon and see if I can become part of the 1%. That is quite a challenge.
I am also all for relationships. Do you write in your book about the addiction? It's another topic that I am very interested in.

Thank you for the advice and encouragement. I thought of starting to write it here on steemit and when I have written the 365 devotionals trying to get it published. So I will let you know when the first one is up. Blessings!
