It's certainly a very time based platform. One solution might be to brush off old posts, review them, make any necessary changes and repost them, perhaps 12 months later. This would give readers the opportunity to see them who might have missed them the first time.

hmm interesting approach - hadn't considered something like that.

Though I really do wonder - if couldn't just open the possibility to vote on things whenever...seems like that's a win/win for everyone...because everyone who posts is open to receiving long term royalties.

also opens up the point if you've been active for a long while - and then go on vacation - probably still got some residual income with the old posts. especially so when we are sitting with $100 Steem prices.
