I felt like you were reading my brain! I, too, have only been here a short time. I think you hit it right on when you said that the majority of the platform is good, and there's so much good content out there to find. I try hard not to get sucked into any of the disagreements...just trying to learn as much as I can about the various facets of the community and hopefully put out some quality content myself.
