RE: Why I’m Not Keen On Inviting My Facebook Friends Here
Hey, thanks for taking your time sharing your thoughts. I agree with your approach of helping steemians grow and posting quality content that will generate organic search results in search engines. Right now, most of my friends are not ready for something like steemit but hopefully, ill get back to them and show them that this is something legit and valuable. Thanks!
I get you. it is true about Ph in general and is evident even here. But hoping my simple post and dms can help in adjusting things. It is not only your friends. It is a very general thing! I play basketball here and i have been with a ton of boys and they will generally laugh about things related to big dreams or steemit but i approach them in a very different way, when i talk about steemit. When talking about steemit in PH, i talk about life, i do a lot of prepping tackling the substance of the person before steemit comes in! For people with potential, i open their eyes just a bit, then bring them on steemit and they follow their mentorship. The approach is way different when i talk to people from other countries. If you look at my last post, though, it was directed to #philippines, you will notice that others read between my lines and drew something out! So a little education is necessary. So for you, i admonish you to grow and find yourself. You will need to climb over the ladder to effectively draw someone up
Yes. Im glad that people recognize the different online culture of Filipinos. Ive read your post and I agree about creating quality stuff that will encourage readers to eventually sign up. My plan is to actually grow here and hope someday that I can do the things you are doing now, which is helping new steemians grow.
Power! :P
Exactly! That is how it should work. I have sheer talent when it comes to understanding life and humans but i still paced things. From minnow days, i used to do non-stop DMs, people used to visit me from my post and i catered to close to 800 people, before this efforts started. I have done this efforts but not as effectively as now. It is one thing to bring people and it is another thing to keep them going! Developing yourself is the right way cos eventually you will be bring in likeminded people and that networks itself out. Read my last post, there is message for you on there!
Haha. I finally read your post! I resteemed it. The gift card would definitely work imho because really, Pinoys love freebies!
Very informative.
