RE: TOP SECRET! - STEEMIT 2017 ROADMAP - Steemit Communities
Communities will likely be small tight knit whale communities with every minnow trying to suck on a teat. The only reason to join the guitar playing community would be to get money from a whale.....not because you like guitars.
I'm 100% certain that delegation is going to become a bigger and bigger part of steem. It's possible that these communities will have a single leader that is a giant whale that is delegating power to sub commanders in order to get more people into the community but those communites will likely become giant circle jerks and pyramid schemes with the largest whales at the top getting most of the money. I'm sure all of it is done in order to help steemit get away from the signal to noise ratio but I really do think that it's not going to help at all but make it worse by increasing the power of the whales...... and I see today that the price is steem is $1.05.
YES... but what do you really think?
You may very well be right; and sometimes I wonder why so much goes on without much updates "from above".
Of course, I think it really depends on having a good idea, of what WOULD WORK, and that's probably where I would ask you, WHAT would that look like?
I think we all agree, that current format can't stand. It won't adapt to having 1 million users, verses the current 300K.
And Reddit went through many of the same growing pains, so what is the solution, that works for everyone financially as well as creatively?
