You should check out wise from noisy. It lets you give users vote on your behalf within ruleset that you have created for them.

For example, I could let you cast one 100% vote once a week from me on a post that has tags art and newcomer.

Of course there are more rules available like not being able to vote on specific users or vice versa.

In short: no need to delegate SP anymore and your voting power will still be in use the way you allow it before hand. It's great.

Sadly the website does not yet allow rulesets to be created as delegator, for that you'd need to use command line and install some stuff.
