How To Delegate Steem Power (SP). The Only Guide You'll Ever Need 🤘.
So you've been rummaging through Steemit, searching high and low for a SIMPLE guide on how to delegate your Steem Power because you're looking to support your mate, or to put your passive Steem Power to use since you're not always on and want to earn from delegating to a voting bot like MinnowBooster.
Don't give up. Steemitguide is Here.
You've literally resorted to clicking on Page 2 on Google. How Desperate. Seriously, who has the time to:
- Go to https://steemd.com/ and search for 'steem_per_mvests'.
- Understand Vests then Calculate your vests by plugging in {(1,000,000/steem_per_mvests) * Steem you want to Allocate}.
- Re-titrate your waterclock to consider daylight savings and ensure atomic accuracy under dynamic sub-quantum entropic states.
- Plug in something into a SteemConnect hyperlink and pray to nanny that your Internet Money isn't snooped somehow by HackerMan.
Okay, in all Seriousness. Here it is
We're going to delegate 25 SP to @teamvn. We'll do this by accessing a site developed by @justyy, a very talented Steemian and Witness we stumbled across which utilized SteamConnect's API and a Web form to simplify the Delegation process.
- Prepare your Private/Active Key
- Head over to https://helloacm.com/tools/steemit/sp-delegate-form/
- Fill in the Form for Delegator ID, Delegatee ID, and Amount to Delegate (VESTS or SP). Choose SP as it's easier.
- Hit 'Delegate Via SteemConnect'
- Enter your required key in the password area
- Done! Check your status at steemworld.org/@USERNAME (Replace USERNAME with your own User ID)
Here's how it should look like:
Check that your Delegator, Delegatee, and SP Values are CORRECT.
Yes? hit DELEGATE
HIT CONTINUE
Enter your User ID and Private/Active Key
aand.. You're Done!
Now head to steemworld.org/@USERNAME to see if its successful. Ours was!
Now I would like to thank @justyy for his hard work and contributions for Steemit. If you didn't know already, he's got a whole list of Steem Utilities he's developed to keep you at the top of your game.
Head over to https://helloacm.com/tools/steemit/ for more.
Wow, this great. I didn't know about that website. Normally I just copy a link and change the detail.
I know a better way: just make a comment

thanks for the information, everything is so easy on steemit 😊👍
I am really looking for guide to delegate steem power so your post help me a lot thank you for this useful post
This is a quick way of delegating!
Yesh, man
I appreciate it
thanks for sharing. There's a lot to learn on steemit.
Steemworld.org is an excellent dashboard. NOW I know what's going on in my Wallet and can get a full listing of payouts without having to sift through posts with a lot of resteems. Is there any way to integrate that into the Wallet page? Even a link on the Wallet page would be helpful to new users. The Wallet summary doesn't give any hints about Steem currency transactions and conversions. On the other hand, after just a few minutes at Steemworld.org, I understand that just about all of my Steem Power has been delegated from Steem. That means my account is in the red and operating on a LOAN of Steem Power. I assume I will have to pay that back once I've generated Steem from posts/votes/comments. Thanks for this post. I think I now know enough to get by. If anyone has suggestions for further learning, I'm grateful to get it.
Nice content buddy!!!!
It would come in very handy for a tool aswell to undelegate. I see posts telling how to delegate but not how to undelegate, or atleast not as many and easy to understand.
I want to delegate X sp to @user
Where X is the amount of SP and @user is the steem user you want to delegate to. For example:
I want to delegate 100 sp to @steemitguide
Hope this helps!:)
@tipu is really a service I would recommend others to use! Will consider using this service in the future :)
Thanks! I have delegated to minnowbooster and voteme. Daily pay!
It's pretty neat when you don't have time to use Steemit!
You should check out wise from noisy. It lets you give users vote on your behalf within ruleset that you have created for them.
For example, I could let you cast one 100% vote once a week from me on a post that has tags art and newcomer.
Of course there are more rules available like not being able to vote on specific users or vice versa.
In short: no need to delegate SP anymore and your voting power will still be in use the way you allow it before hand. It's great.
This sounds really interesting! Will give this a go and probably make a dedicated post on it :) Thank you for sharing this information
Sadly the website does not yet allow rulesets to be created as delegator, for that you'd need to use command line and install some stuff.
That is amazing!!............
