The Easiest Way To Convert your Steemit dollars to usd

Just earning your STEEM Dollars is not enough, you should find ways to convert it into real money. It can sometimes be confusing for new users because it sounds a little messy. Out of the many ways with which you can use, I have in this blog tried to summarize the easiest way to convert your hard earned SMD into USD.

Step 1

: Visit Blocktrades.us

GO to http://blocktrades.us and then select "STEEM Dollars" to "Bitcoin"

Enter the amount of SBD you’d like to transfer. The system will show you how many Bitcoins you’ll get in exchange for that amount of STEEM Dollars.

Then enter your Bitcoin address and click "Get Deposit Address."

Remember to copy that address. (CTRL+C or CMD+C)

Step 2

: Transfer SBD from your STEEMIT to Bitcoin

For this, first go to your Steemit wallet then search for Steam Dollars. Choose your amount and then select "Transfer"

Enter "Blocktrades" in the field where it says "TO", without quotes.

Enter the secret string of characters where it says "Memo". Remember, this memo is what makes your transaction findable and valid.

Click “Transfer”. Now your funds will be moved to your Bitcoin address. (for eg. Coinbase)

While making this conversion, please try very small amounts initially and check whether the transfer is being done or not.

Step 3

: Transfer your Bitcoins to your Debit card.

There are several websites that allow you to load your Bitcoins. The most useful one that I’d suggest is Cryptopay.

This site allows you to purchase a $2.5 prepaid credit card that you can use online or offline as you wish. When you get the real card, it will be a lot easier for you to transfer cryptocurrency there.

Finally, simply make a transfer to your internal Bitcoin address in Cryptopay. To move that amount to your card, click “Load Card”. Wait for a while, and there you go! Your SBD have now converted into real dollars!
