Thank you so much for your incredible comment and all that delicious information - it's incredibly generous of you to take the time to share all this with me and clear up my random newbie wonderings!

I'll check out the accounts and links you have sent me through - but have already headed over to follow @byn and have fallen in love with her posts- going to go and binge-read her blog later ;) I do love what she does with her footer section, so will have a think about how I can adopt something similar.
